Does Nêmesis decide KYC, AML or fraud?
No. Those decisions belong to the operator. Nêmesis consumes the signal you decide and applies it across the agents: who can be contacted, when and with which message.
What does suppression block in practice?
Offers, campaigns and bonuses for a player flagged at risk, on pause or self-excluded. Support is not on that list: if he writes, the conversation is answered — and, on a crisis signal, with care and CVV 188. Account or transaction blocking is the operator's decision and execution.
How is risk detected in the conversation?
Through WebChat signals: long sessions, cries for help, desperate language and loss reports. The signal is classified and becomes an intervention or an escalation to a human.
What if the risk signal does not arrive?
The default is conservative: with no confirmation of the responsible gaming state, offers and campaigns are held until the signal arrives. Support for whoever comes to the channel carries on as normal.
Does this replace my compliance team?
No. The regulatory duty for responsible gaming and AML belongs to the operator, under the regulation applicable in its jurisdiction. Nêmesis applies your policy inside support.
How much does it cost and how is it billed?
Per credit, and Nêmesis has no credit of its own. Checking the responsible gaming state happens inside Atena's turn, as an internal check: it enters the audit trail with zero weight and what consumes the credit is Atena's answer. There is no separate charge for suppression.
What if the credit pool runs out mid-month?
The agents pause, and Nemesis pauses with them: there is no exception for the compliance function. No conversation is cut mid-way, the reply in progress is finished before the pause, and your human team keeps working from the panel, because human service consumes no credit. Usage is metered per cycle and per agent and stays available for review at any time; there is no automatic usage warning, so watching the balance is up to the operator. The legal duty of responsible gaming and anti-money-laundering remains the operator's: one of our tools pausing neither transfers nor reduces that duty, so the contingency has to be part of how you design your operation.
